stock 240sx slams a beamer and an EX
Two parts to this a war story and a rant:
In sarasota driving down North Tamiami when I hit the light to go over to St. Armands circle. In my rear view Im watching some lights dart in and out of traffic coming up really fast. Up next to me comes a little Honda Civic EX (thinking its a 99 model) with a fart can exhaust and some of those chrome wheels you buy at Autozone (you know the cheap kind). I rev my engine really loud as loud as a little 2.4L can go. The guy looks over and then situates himself in his seat whoo hoo. Light goes green and I launch hard using that RWD edge to get in front. Well I got WAY in front atleast enough for the beemer to cut in front of him around 3rd. So now this Beemer is looking to pass me but theres a turn. Yay plant it in third and hug the inside. Beemer is right next to me on the outside when all of a sudden **SCREEECH** The guy is kind of facing the curb and stopped right on the exit of the turn. Whoops those arent Z rated tires he had Im guessing. Good thing another lane opens up right out of the turn or Im sure the EX that was coming around would have slammed him (doubt he could have escaped to the inside). Go Nissan grip that curve!
The rant:
First off bring back verbal warfare.
You should bring that stuff back so that it will stop spilling over into everything else. If only for that reason I didnt read it but now I am because its interjected into everything else.
Oh... and since there ISNT a place to do it because the higher ups are in denial that street racing is childish and unprofessional (well it is its a huge exspensive ego trip)... but whatever... heres my short flame that Ill have to add to the end of this war story:
You guys need to cut with the mullet stuff. If the guy doesnt have a mullet then dont call it a MULLET when its just as easy to call it a gas hog v8 or a ford (Ive owned two i can make fun of them hehe). Calling a civic or any economically minded four cylinder (of which I drive) a ricer is different than mullet. Mullet attacks the person Ricer attacks the car. See the difference? Oh and I dont know who Flounder is never met him but that whole getting the last word and closing the thread thing is lame. The guy is a prick and I can tell that from not even meeting him sucks to be him.

For people who care about their cars a great deal attacking someones car is just as personal as attacking them. Thats why many people dont see the difference you mentioned. I closed the thread to stop the arguing. If you dont like me getting the last word in then dont flame up my forum.
and the most important thing..
flounder is faster than you..
flounder is faster than you..

dude.. VW was closed for the exact reason you described.. it WAS spilling out of VW and into other threads..and while we are on the topic of spilling.. that thread about with the mullet comment (hey.its a damn fish where i come from) has been closed.. that generally means topic is closed for discussion.. and yet you spill it out here into another thread.
well this thread went to shit the second it was typed.
