ok let me try this again.

First off Marty probably wont ever reply to this again he isnt the type of guy to get into an internet brawl with anyone so I will say this in his defense. When you say he called you out.. I doubt it was done in a sarcastic or rude way. Marty lives for the close race and since it was so close the first time he probably figured you were the best thing for him to race. I would bet money he rode by and had a goofy grin on his face and smiled while motioning if you would like to go again. Marty is not cocky in his abilities.

you beat him thats cool. no problems with that. He gave you a thumbs up which was cool of him. you of course left that part out and made it look like the dumb ole good-ole-boy couldnt handle being beaten. I took offense to that AFTER he already acknowledged that you won and did it in a classy way.

Not your fault you didnt know who he was and that he was one of the most highly respected drag racers in town as well as the Admin for the fastest car club in town.. so you figured you would brag a little (You had a right too) and then maybe imbellish a little bit. not your fault you didnt know who he was right? a little stretching to make the story sound good right? what will it hurt? and all those kids on TR will think I am even cooler! Hey dont sweat it marty doesnt hold grudges. But I am sure he would be game for a rematch like I said he loves a close race.

but a lot of these morons just jump in with the Domestics suck Mullet domestics blah blah blah thats what really fired me up. This is supposed to be a PERFORMANCE CAR CLUB right? but it seems its an anti-American car club most of the time. Nothing enrages me faster than a bunch of people running down American cars when they are lucky to ever see a 14 second timeslip let alone a 13 or 12.

and as far as 12s are easy in a Domestic thats not true either. Ask a Mustang 5.0 guy. they ran 15s stock just like most import racers. The LT1 F=Body cars ran 13.8-14.1 stock. It still requires effort knowledge and skill to get into the 12s. granted our cars are geared towards easy mods and awesome power gains for minimal money and work but is that our fault for buying cars already MADE for what we do? 99% of all cars made import or domestic were never intended to be drag racers. Mustang Camaro Firebird Viper.. thats about it.. and Supra and RX7.. thats about it. The rest are made for other purposes and are bent to drag racing requiring far more time money and effort to go fast. I hear the its easy to go fast with a V8 all the time but I dont hear Its easy to go 12s with a Supra! or RX7 Turbo.. why not? its the same difference both are geared towards racing arent they?

we all drive what we think is best for our needs.. is it our fault that the vast majority of our club runs 11s and 12s? and this group runs 15s? does that justify the mullet label?

no dude most of this rant isnt aimed at you or what happened with the race just aimed to the majority of ignorant children here who think they can say or do anything they want to about anyone they want to and face no retaliation.

and to you guys screaming MULLET how about we have a friendly little get together Saturday night and put em on the road and see who smells like fish? .. prolly smell more like CHICKEN if you ask me.. and Chicken tastes GOOOOD
