Maxima Goes Down To The Mule !

Much to my disbelief I dusted a newer auto Maxima last night not once but twice!
Once from a light where I gave him the jump because I was on the phone and then from about 45 m.p.h. he jumped first again and I ran him down.
I know they are pretty fast even in auto form because I used to work on them but man I thought I was going to take a pounding.
Felt good to have a race I have not had one in any of my cars in quite a while.
Oh well thats what you get when you mess with the big bad Vic. !

I beat a newer stick one at the track by 2 tenths with a girl in my car I though they where faster then that.

hey fordman I know this has nothing to do with this post. But I noticed you said that you worked on maximas. Just wondering if you knew of a place where I can get a used gauge cluster for my 96 max other than a new one from the dealer ship? Also did it have the clear back lights if so it has 255 hp if not it had 222hp. I will take the mule to a challenge for s@#$ and giggles

I will never live this one down but I was a tech at Precision Nissan for a few years many moons ago.
As far as your parts go I really could not give you a particular place to go to sorry.
And as for my race it was not one of the newer 255 h.p. cars I have already been given a beat down by one of those. I take the mule down to Bradenton once and a while just to practice the tree so come get me if you see me I will run ya for the hell of it. It is a silver 95 Crown Vic. with the performace and handling package (mesh wheels slightly lower dual exhaust and a driver that is under 60 years old )
