No Bmp does not suck..Probably the best track in Central Florida..Only track better that I know of is Gainsville.

It sucks on certain nights.I can't believe they charge the same to run on a Club 1320 as a test and tune and the prep isnt there on 1320 nights.Last thursday was due to the rain and the track absorbing moisture.

Nice...that's pretty healthy. It looks and sounds good too. I've been wanting to go out again but there's no point, my tiny turbo a POS stock IC do not like this weather at all.

Yeah I've heard everything from it being one of the fastest tracks in the country, to being horrible. I don't have anything to compare it to. Good to know I'm close to one of the best tracks in the state though

It's all in the track preperation, no matter where it's located.

Off topic, but what turbo comes stock on the new GTI's?

It was stock then. Now it is not. If you thought it sounded good then you should hear it now haha. Its also been dropped since then.

A Borg Warner K03 Sport comes on the 06-08's, it's still small but it's bigger than the old K03's from the 1.8T. The 09's have an IHI turbo but I don't know the details on it.

I saw some cars running some shitty times when I was there too though...GTO running mid 14's, new shelby mustang running 13-14's...
I have to state, that I was NOT running mid 14s! LoL! All of the other GTOs were though!! I was running the 13.1-13.2 @ 107-110 with craptastical 2.1 60's.

The other GTO guys were cutting 2.5+ 60's hence the horrible ETs.

ps - now that I think about it, sadly enough, I was the fastest GTO there that night.

I hope BMP reads this thread.Everyoen has to agree its a waste of money if the prep isnt there.

eeeh nah. BMP is one of the better tracks I hear... I've only raced at BMP, but I've raced there a lot.

This is not directed at anyone at all, just my thoughts on the matter after hearing people bitch about "bad track prep" after parking their cars post run. IMHO too often people blame their poor driving skills (temporary or not) on lack of track prep. Im not letting the "bad track prep" excuse hinder my improvement, whether or not it's a factor. It's on ME to launch better, not the track.

ps - I think that I suck ass at launching and need lots and lots more practice... Only when I can cut consistant 1.7s on street rubber will I claim to have the "driver mod" or say anything about track prep. As is now I can only claim to shift like godzilla. (I've broken 2 OEM shifters thus far...)
