Spent a good part of Saturday turboing a buddies Dc Teg.Took it out to the "meet" and lined up a couple of runs.

First run was my friends (Ugly86integra) B-swapped Crx.We line up 3-honks and we go.Was pretty even through 1st gear second and third he pulls about a car.4th I start to creep up on him but we shut down..Ended up with him out about a half a car or so...Good run Chuck.

Next I run a 07 Si Civic.I actually put about a car on him off the line and maby pulled another car or so by 4th gear with the clutch starting to slip now..


The Dc is just a stock ls with a 18G turbo on 5 psi with a slipping clutch.

 

good runs, car pulls decent when up in the RPMS....

Yea I read up on that turbo and alot of people were complaining about the lag..So I guess its normal.

Yea Blane's happy with it..Aslong as we get the oil leak fixed.I think we killed about 2 quarts of oil Saturday night as well,

 

i'm sorry but if someone is complaining about lag on an 18g turbo please tell them gtfo. Just my .02 cents

 

you should GTFO..... he has a cast manifold, 18G greddy turbo, stock honda header downpipe and bone stock integra exhaust with cat and resignator and muffler... so yes it does lag.

 

Cast manifold should spool faster than a ramhorn or equivalent, but the rest of that stuff is murder on spool times.
