They would probably help but you dont have to have them..Any car that is mechanically sound can run.

Almost every DH event we have went to something has happened to the car...

I didn't get my race with Jessica Barton at DH8 thanks to the dang tranny. I was looking forward to that race..
I've been down 3 months and i'm having withdrawls. I tried to take Daves keys to the pupra..
