Default Weekend Kills

Well I ran into a few races this past week. The first was a yellow Cobra witha cow hood up around winterhaven before Xmas. We were doing 80 so it was a short run. He hit it first and then I just put about 4-5 cars on him threw 4th and a bit into 5th. Nice guy gave me a thumbs up.

Then on Saturday night I had soem fun. First was a group of V8's we chased onto 275 going towards Tampa. First I pulled next to a cow hooded Camaro and we hit it at about 40 mph and I just pulled away. The pulling paused abit in 3rd due to heavy spinning on my part, but I put many car lengths on him. Hard to even tell how long he stayed in it as well. Then after seeing a few of them race each other the Black Conv. Cobra pulled along side. He honked it off and we hit it at about 60mph. I just pulled away putting unknown distance between threw 3rd and 4th. Was super fun running across the bridge with a group of V8's.

I raced two other cars on Bayside but I couldn't tell you what they were I destroyed them anyways so it relly doesn't matter.

Then as the night came to a close we saw Slim handing out across 275 and chased him down. I rolled up and hit a little Vtec next to him trying to taunt him. We straighten out and hit it at 60 and I just pull away hard. Turns out he didn't bring the bottle out . He got in a run with Neal and charlie as well across the bridge. Be interesting to see it on the bottle.

As far as what I drive its a Civic and it is stock..

:bs: Drive from a dig or go home. Starting at 60 mph is stupid. Also, there is no way that a stock civic would be "destroying" V-8's. Even if the V-8's were stock, which I'm sure they weren't.

Good kills Bry.

95cobrasvt- I haven't seen Bry in years but his old n/a civic was pretty fast. I'm sure his current ride hauls the mail. The man know how to build a 4cyl.

I still find it so funny how people get so offended when a car that is the same as theirs gets beat. Don't see me posting in every War Story a Honda loses calling BS. As far as the stock comment it was a joke and basically stating that I don't plan to explain what is done to the car. Also it is hard to go from a dig on 275 driving across the bridge. My traction on the street from a dig would be sh*tty even with the DRs on, since I don't have the luxery of AWD or RWD.

Yeah gxsr0407 I made a point on posting Slim was off the bottle for those runs. Its always like that tho the moment somethings not right on the car the good races show up. I'm sure sometime will run hopefully its when we tune out some of the problems and can turn the power up.

Well, then I retract my "bs" part of the comment. Nice runs I guess. If you can't get traction, then it becomes a racers race, and not just a horsepower contest doesn't it? I never get traction from a dig, but I still prefer to do it that way as opposed to a roll. Hell, even at 30 in 2nd, I still get loose. But you have to take a win any way you can now adays, and running from a roll in a car which is (possibly) low on torque, but high on HP, certainly puts it in your favor I guess.

twice, the OP used the term "cow hood"... it is spelled and pronounced cowl. now I know why you didnt know this, its because there are no JDM cowl hoods. good runs though, if you beat a cobra and camaro you must be at least quick. I agree dig racing is better. then it isnt just about who has better HP to weight ratio.
