i was cruising around tamp last night with a freind(200lbs = -2/10ths) just checkin out some places...we end up in BFE tampa and i see this stang turn ahead of us it accelerates quickly so i chase i get behind it and its a new s281 so i pull up along side of it and look over and some lady is driving it so im like shit shell never race---well to my suprise i hear her gun it..so i gun it too...we were in top of second gear when we started and she jumped the gun on me but to my suprise she only got about a car on me and then i hit my powerband and held steady till the top of third when she started to brake.....i caught up wth her and she said it was an auto and she had already got a ticket that night...anyway i figured an s281 would pull a little better especially since we started around 60mph but oh well its still a pimp car....maybe ill catch her at a light some night...and maybe ill have my little buddy in the trunk then too...either way i think shed be in trouble ....well it wasnt really a war story but it was a fun little race and my first race with a true saleen.....

 

As you prolly already know the s-281 is basically a GT w/ exhaust and u/d pulleys and maybe a gear. The S/C ones are a little different though. Good kill.

 

no there not...there the fastest cars on earth and i roasted em all even the SR-widebodys. ---i know...theyre that stuff and a re-programmed ecu..but i just thought a car that costs almost $40000 should be a bit faster....
