Driving down tampa rd. friday after leaving this dudes house this type R with this weird looking usdm front end and DYNAMIC racing across the window oulls up next to me and drops it so im like ok i droped it and got up to about 90 and passed him then he threw a peace shight got to a stop light and he was like what ya got i sighted and spoke stock then turned around.

 

a jrsc type r would probably run high 12s with slicks i am sure. maybe even on street tires depending on how much boost he is pushing...what do you have?

 

haha ---12s --youd think so. I know the particular itr he is talking about and the best hes ever pulled on the track is a 14.1. Yes 14.1........It is entirely possible to beat this vehicle and be warned- you can beat ANYONE iin Dynamic Racing Keep an eye out for these fags on the street. Not even. A Jackson Supercharger claims a 40% power increase which would bring it to about 200-210 at the wheels and its heavy curb weight would make for a mid-13 time well tuned. It is even harder to make a supercharger make good power in an ITR. So dont expect lightening fast times unless the Type R has lots of other work.

 

I raced a supercharged ITR(probably the same guy) from a red light with full interior and a passenger(cornishcrx). I pulled him from 1st through 3rd and he finally caught me at the very top of 4th gear which is past the 1/4 mile mark. I consider that a win for me. Bry and cxcivic spanked his ass too. It was quick but not as quick as a boosted car should be in my opinion.

 

hmm... i thought itrs run mid 14s stock? im probably wrong.......i know a kid who runs 9 psi boost on his gsr with a jrsc and he claims to run low 13s so i figured an itr would be a little bit quicker than that....then again..this kid could be lying..
