Ok so Im new on this board read a buncj of your kill stories and thought I would add one. This was my first pseudo-race since I came out of the garage...
I was driving out to meet some buddies in Brandon and going down 301 to Lumsden/Causeway this brwon late 80s/early 90s Z28 pulls up i could hear his flowmasters but didnt even want to bother... took my left onto Lumsden and i guess he didnt like the sound of my bee-in-a-coffee-can-muffler so he kept pulling up to me and backing off trying to get me to run. I pretty much ignored him until he cut me off right up at the Faulkenburg light pulling into my lane... there were cars in the middle and right lanes already. Light goes green and he smokes em or at least his exhaust did. I follow right on his tail and as soon as the middle lane is clear I change over... and now his buddy is waving to me out the passenger window come on ricey
So I ran it. Dont remember how fast i actually got to i think i at least made 60 by the top of the hill with him in my wake. Didnt want to go too fast as ususally traffic is backed up down the other side of the 75 overpass. Then I remembered that with my new red on 2nd gear i was good for another 15mph... but by this time i had already decided to let him go. Then in true poser fashion he went flying by me at about 80 and pulled right up behind an HCS who then let him pass and followed him on a side street... I thought only losing ricers did fly-bys?
Looking forward to an actual race... once I finally hit the rollers to dyno in.
