Tonight I decided to make a voyage out to Brandon where VortecFL lives to show him my new CRX. After hanging out for a while we all went back outside to look at CReeprXs fine CRX when some random 98-00 Civic hatch blips the throttle and pulls up. Of course Vortec shouts at him hey we got a race for ya at the hatch driver. After shooting the shit for a while and playing dumb after popping the hood (uh yeah its a stock HF I just bought it 2 days ago) he decides to accept the challenge against 65 hp of raw fury. While I was backing out the hatch driver tells Vortec if I lose to that thing I am gonna hang myself. Get the damn rope...lol! We pull out onto the main drag and line up. Being antsy I jump the gun a bit. Realizing this I back all the way off and let him get beside me. After being satisfied with his gain of a half car I firewall the HF and rocket past him and continue to pull. After 3rd I shut it down and he roars up beside me. Again he floors it and I give it 3/4 pedal and play with him before taking off. We get to a light and I jump in the turn lane along side him (its one of those double turn lanes). Vortec calls me just as the light turns green so I decide not to press the issue but the hatch driver goes for it. I wait until he is balls to the wall and just casually pass him while on the phone with Vortec not even working the car. HAhahahahaa! The hatch driver said you sure that is stock?!?!? I guess you got me because of the light weight. ROTFLMFAO!!! CRX HF life is grand.

The HF awaits you. And it has a bevy of new mods to meet any challenge. The Type R style shifter helps me bang/grind the gears and the new racing seat (Si with Anderson Engineering) helps my buttox stay put. Oh yeah I await the challenge.

I am apparently missing something. When riding in Emos HF I often find my self scooching (if that is even a word) back in forth in my seat in an attempt to get the car moving. He says he can actually feel the car lurch forward when I do this. I am a fat basta...
