I was just driving to the wal-mart on 54 to pick up some photos and saw a silver gsr and a yellow turbo eg stopped at the light ahead of me. 3 bikes roll out of the 711 and pull up next to the hatch and talk to them like they know them. The light turns green and they all take off, myself included. I'm right behind the gsr and the hatch and we break traffic and have a big opening ahead. The hatch moves over and just chills and I'm on the ass of the teg as he takes off. I grab the right lane and catch him quick around 80 and pull 1 1/2 cars on him before we have to slow down. I tried to talk to the guy at the next light but he wouldn't look over and neither would his buddy in the hatch. they take off again and the bikes pop some wheelies and take off and the gsr and and hatch get stuck a few cars back. When they pull even again neither would look over again, even with me trying to talk to them and both of their windows down. Anyone know the silver gsr? It had suspension work, atleast i/h/e and a cf hood. There were atleast 5 other people that saw it, the 2 people in the hatch and the 3 guys on the bikes. Oh and by the way I drive the silver escape in my sig.

 

Good "kill".. But I don't really see how that's possible.

I know an I/H/E GSR isn't the fastest thing in the world, but it should definitely be faster than a 125hp escape, which weights a few more hundred pounds. Unless you modded your Escape, but I doubt it. lol

Are you sure the GSR was actually "racing" you?

 

I have the v6 200hp with intake and a superchips tuner. Trust me he was racing. Numerous people on here can vouch for my car. and if anyone knows the Yellow eg turbo hatch or the gsr they can ask them as well. I used to beat gsr's in my old si, and my escape is about 2 car lenghts faster than that car.

The gsr described sounds like japbran or japanbran here on TR. I dont know if he's still around or not. His gf used to live down the street form my parents.
