Had my cams & cam gears put in this weekend, finally got it running descent. So I took it out for it's first "real" test drive lastnight, it's like 70* out and the car is running great. Cruising, messing with the throttle, listening closely to everything making sure the car is doing as it should.

Had a silver H22 Prelude come-up next to me and rev. Never seen the car intown before, not sure of the mods but I saw an exhaust... Went from a 2nd gear roll on a long empty road. Pulled pretty good in 2nd & 3rd on him, got into 4th and stayed in it til around 100ish and let off. I put about 5-8 cars on him I'm guessing. He caught up to me & gave me a thumbs up.

Glad it was a good race, the R/T is coming along pretty nice. Still got a few things I need to put on it, needs to be tuned pretty bad still. I'm sure the owner of the Prelude wasn't expecting that outcome

I still wanna ran a srt just to see how it does against them... I'm gonna take it out to the test & tune this Thursday at Lakeland I think.

 

i'd run you, since i'm basically stock...nice kill though & seein the r/t comin along

 

if you dont get to run a skittle before test and tune a good running one with a good driver should be around a 9 flat in the 1/8

 

my best was 9.3, first time at bradenton & first time in the skittle (no mods)

 

i'll talk to frank and see if he wants to go. it would be fun for us!
