On my way home I ran into four Mustangs at the same time. The first thing I noticed was that they had pillar guages and monster tachs(I know it dosent necessarily mean that theyre fast though). First was a 94-95(it had horizontal tail lights) burgandy GT 5.0. Next was a silver GT(probably a 4.6) with the vertical tail lights and fake Cobra badges on the side. Along with them was another red older body style 5.0 GT. Last was a older yellow 5.0 with red stripes but he was a loner. All of them were looking for races. I got on it from a second gear drop with the first one and it was pretty fast but I yanked him before we hit traffic. At a light in traffic he told me it was modified and asked me if I was squeezing. He was suprised to learn I was N/A. I told him I had a GSR motor but he didnt seem to grasp the idea. He said no way because he beats Integras all the time or something. He didnt get the whole weight thing. He said he was with the other two guys but not with the yellow one. The yellow one turned off at Waters anyway. I called cxcivic and Bry on my cell phone to let them know of the fun they were missing since I was already on the way to their home in the first place. Finally I lined up with the silver one and I spanked him good while his buddies watched in disbelief. At the next light the silver one wanted another try as well as the the burgandy one. I spanked them both as we all launched like bats out of hell. Further ahead I was just crusing waiting for the third one(older body style 5.0 GT) to come get his spanking but he stayed behind me and kept his distance. The silver one came back up and then appeared cxcivic and Bry from behind. I backed off a little so everyone could get a piece. cxcivic and Bry proceeded to hand out spankings as well. It was a fun night.

Odds are they were real Cobra badges on a fake car not vice versa . Nice kills though you gotta put those damn gauge pillared peons in their place. Nothing like having duplicate water temp battery voltage and oil pressure gauges on a stock car. Why? If you ever see them again tell them a true Mustang guy told you to tell you that they suck. Then beat em again.

I THINK IT IS TIME TO RACE A REAL COBRA AND NOT FOR 2 CITY BLOCKS. I MEAN TIL THE FRIGGIN CAR IS SHAKIN FROM THE FORCE OF THE WIND LETS GET A TIME AND PLACE WHERE WE CAN GO AT IT FOR MORE THAN A MILE. THE WEIGHT RATIO COUNTS OFF THE LINE BUT IF YOU WANT TO CALL YOUR CAR FAST OVER 140 IN MY EYES IS FAST. LETS GET THIS GOING. IF YOU HAVE A FAST CAR THIS WILL SHOW IT.WHAT DO YOU SAY GUYS/GALS? I WANT TO REAL IN SOME RICE AT THE 120 MPH MARK!!!!

 

How about we race to California and back. If you want to reel me in your gonna have to do it way over 120 when Im in fifth gear(overdrive). But by then Ill be so far out in front that youre gonna need a lot of NOS. By the way Ive beat plenty of real Slobras and my Civic goes over 140.

Why? Drag racing is done a 1/4 at a time. Racing to 140mph + is friggin stupid. By then it doesnt matter what kind of driver you are or how much hp its more dependant on gears than anything else. If it takes you more than a 1/4 mile to get goin youre gonna lose.

BTW Flounder you have exceeded the recommended dosage of Fords for the day. I suggest you take a day or two to mellow out otherwise you may overdose. Good trio o kills.

Thats great! Sorry your car is not stock so why would I have to resort to NOS to catch you? Is there something not fair about NOS? Your cars are slow as all hell out of the box so why would it be an issue for NOS? See when you get beat by a Cobra you say I lost because it was worked seems like you are trying to walk ride both sides of a fence to me. How many times will you race a 225 hp GT? I swear you raced this same silver fobra a few weeks ago. I am not saying you car is not quick I am saying that you work your car to get performance yet if someone who owns a Cobra does the same it would not be a fair race.
What burns you more than anyhting is not getting respect from muscle car owners who look at your car and grin. I do alot of grinning

 

King-Slobra Flounder was just saying you would need NOS to beat him. We could give a shit if you got a REAL Corba your STILL going to LOSE!!! Bring that thing to Tampa so we can spank your REAL CORBA and maybe youll shut up! You beat a riced civic and think you can beat every civic on the street. Its just getting old everytime we beat a V8 you have something negitive to say! I cant wait to spank you myself and you can be my War Story :}

 

Honestly I think it is quite admerable that he beat a 4.6L 215hp 3500lb car with a 1.8L 215hp 2000 lb car. 500 more miles and I will gladly run Flounder with a dog of a 99 Cobra Convertable. Unlike any of the Kult I will gladly tell you what the car has and what it dynos at (uh oh the D word). And until I get my car back and broken in I will keep my mouth shut and kick back to enjoy the many stories posted here on the board.

Anyway its all in good fun so chill out King-Cobra. He only posts stories to make people like yourself angry. So take it in stride and relax. Nobody is insulting anyone here. Try to keep it civil alright?
