As most of you know my tranny is completely fd. I can occasionally get second gear. Anyway I get second gear to work after some grinding and rip past the 4 door grocery getter that is probably a 45 year old woman driving home from the grocery store. I get the Rs up in the sevens and jam the shifter into the third position let off the clutch. To my *astonishment* the car remains in second gear and the shifter ends up in the neutral position - but the car is still in 2. OK.. so im like oh shizit I finally broke it...

Anyway... Im cruising down bayshore @ about 25 mph in second gear and this first or second gen CRX (maybe blue with a mismatched paneL? I dont remember...) pulls next to me. Im like ok whatever so I hammer it in second pull a car or two on the CRX then he rips by me as I cannot shift into third gear. The guy slows down and pulls up next to me again hes like WTF?. I said My tranny is fd!.. and hammer the throttle again pull a couple cars and get passed. The CRX eventually lost interest and turned off on a sidestreet. I guess this was sorta a race... did I win or lose?

Well if anyone lives on Bayshore Im sure you heard me all last week driving back and forth to my downtown employment @ 6 grand. My tranny started to work again two days ago and its a bit flaky now but all of the gears are working again. Good ole honda. I think the Honda Fairy came in the middle of the night and fixed it Ill save that for another post.

Eh I was following someone and driving slowly and extremely cautiously the whole way minus bayshore. I guess there is no excuse though sorry. Feel free to delete my post or whatever if you wish whoever is moderating. My bad. I was in a bad mood when I posted that Ill be more eloquent and tasteful next time. And I dont have any plans of getting in my car again after a drink I could have done a lot worse than break my transmission. My apoligies again.
