After leaving Miami Subs I headed down Dale Mabry towards Kennedy. I catch a red light on Spruce and Dale Mabry and sit there for a while when a white 3000 gt slammed to the ground comes up and stops short. The tip of his nose is at the end of my door. WTF? Not gonna pull up next to me at the line? Whatever. I take off normally and pull a great deal ahead of him when I hear him coming at me full tilt turbo wistling. Seeing this in my rearview I drop it into 1 and hammer it. The drop slams into second and he passes me. I instantly am at his door (keeping in mind he had a HUGE head start on me) and staying right with him. The look on his face was priceless. From a 50mph roll I matched whatever aproach speed he was going. Pretty impressive for a lowly AOD Mustang convertable. I guess he missed the cam sound and the rollbar. Oh well live and learn.
