I just got one quick question. I remember a while ago hearing about a DSM vs Honda grudge match at Desoto that the hondas called the DSMs out. I remember I went to see. Where were all these big mouth hondas at??? I went and saw the DSM guys running the show not just the hondas but the V8s there also. The little yellow turbo crx was there and a white turbo integra and if I am not mistaken they both got beat by a red Talon. The honda guys that did show up ended up racing each other after they got spanked. So I think the DSM guys have a little bragging rights.

Yeah...thats true. They had excuses though (whether they were legit or not I really dont know...but I think you can guess my opinion). BUT the next Club DSM T&T is scheduled for the 22nd...hopefully I will make it to this one (missed the last 2). I heard that we didnt have the best turnout to those 2 either. Oh well hopefully the troops will pull together and DSMs will show up in force at DeSoto on 9/22.

That red talon was me. That day did rain in parts of tampa all day but not everywhere. We called the track and they said they havent gotton any rain. We showed up and kicked ass. Let me get my new clutch installed (2 weeks or so) and I will give you guys a race. I will probably lose but I love to race.

Let me give my side on 3 issues...
1. DSM/HONDA at Desoto. I was there (no turbo) and brought a few honda friends (2 other Sis). I went to check out the action but ended up taking a few passes. I was never part of the HONDA/DSM war I went because TampaRacing was going. On my fourth pass...I got booed from the crowd. I felt insulted and have not returned. This was the first time at Desoto and my first time on a track. The Cult did not show up and I was one of the slow hondas that you are talking about. (did get a 15.8 though...)

2. TampaRacing has expanded from Street Racing to include all sorts of Automotive sports in bay area...to include AutoX and Drag Racing (and even Remote Control Cars).
3. BOV. I have one. You can hear it very well even in vacuum (Thats the opposite of boost for the turbo impaired). Its the HKS Super Sequintial Blow off Valve. I dont roll-up just so you can hear it but unfortunatly every time I lift my foot off of the gas peddle it goes off. I would rather roll up and beat you with out the noise...kinda sleeper style but oh well. Those who cruise across a parking lot pumping the gas to set off the BOV are the idiots.

Just for the DSMs who thought I dislike you...........I dont. I just thought it would make tampa racing(at the track) more fun to have rivals(Ford/Chevy-Honda/Dsm). Everyone needs excitment sometimes right? This is just the way to do it. If any of you got heated dont sweat it. Its all in fun. I finally got my car ready(been working on everyones car but mine). Just making sure that Ill have fun at the track. Peace.

the NASTY Impala is my buddy Chett from Tampa. My plate say SSMOKEM and Im in the Daytona area. I did race at Desoto though stomping big time on the local F-Bodies and Mustangs
Chett is about to get major upgrades on his N2O with my help so he ought to be really flying.
Ive had a nasty run-in at Orlando with a BMW once. I was in the wrong lanes and she ran a 9.2!!!
She had a big old Chevy 350 and blower sticking through the hood
My normal opponents at Orlando are the older trailered musclecars. Had me a few fast imports but havent been passed by one yet except my buddy Kevin (MAX9
in his Maxima when I did my first ever bracket race.
