Nice to run something that isnt a 5.slow

Do you have any performance mods yet?
Exhaust if I remember correctly?

Can we run again from 60-110mph?

That was a fairly close race. I did not get quite the launch I was expecting but then again this car really isnt that great of a drag car to begin with. I rarely get into a street confrontation so it was nice to have a worthy opponent. Id like to try it again once you have a real exhaust on there itd be much closer.

For the record I have 1 major power adder (if you wanna call it that) that being my Mugen header (+5hp). The exhaust is lighter by 20lbs but gave no measurable increase in hp. The K&N I installed in the stock box gave me a whopping 3hp . Other non fast goodies include a titanium shift knob stainless steel brake lines and Espiler springs (not to mention bald tires and a bad alignment heh heh)

Yeah I think Honda has pretty much tweaked most of the horsepower out of the S2000. Im not even going to try and launch mine anymore....stock open diff in the rear with 300000+ miles on it isnt great to say the least. Right now I dont have much of a chance from a dead stop. Im buying a LSD do you have any recommendations? Kaaz Quaife 300zx or another route?

My buddy Dave put in a 300zx non turbo rear end with diff and the resulting lower final drive lopped .2 off his quarter time in his SR20DET 240sx. Seems to be the way to go although Kaaz makes a phenominal (albeit a little noisy) differential.

I thought the final drive ratio from the N/A 300zx LSD was the same as mine is now. I will check more into it.
I think I will end up going with the KAAZ cost some dinero but they are awesome from what I hear.

Just to give you an idea of my gearing now the car will do 110mph in 3rd gear (7200rpm )and I can rev to 7500rpm

I cant complain about 26mpg either the KA only got about 21mpg

13.2 on the stock turbo. Hes upgrading that this weekend so surely his times are to drop. BTW those times are on regular radials full interior etc. Not bad for a four banger!

SR20DET - If you wanna get a Kaaz let me know. Im a dealer for them and I get pretty good prices. Your gearing sounds just fine for a turbo car. Id really like to line up again after you get an exhaust.

Yeah not bad for a 4 banger on radials with a full interior and stock turbo.
