hey cavy... I know a couple things you can do... Shave the head get different pistons im pretty sure pacesetter makes headers for your car.... We will see what happens next time I come down well get together and see what Happens... if your doing the Juice get a Fuel Pressure Regulator and a fuel pump... dont blow anything up... but bump up that compression anyway you can.... My Si is lowered VIA Chikara Extreme RX 3.25 Lowering springs... Although it was sitting next to a stock Si the other day and It looked a lot lower than 3.25 to me... didnt get a chance to measure though... Im buyin coilovers soon... got some other investments first though... And dont worry about a 16.0 my car is supposed to run like 15.7 from what people tell me... maybe it was b/c i was in Florida... I am going to take it to Englishtown NJ Raceway once I get everything set here in a couple of weeks... so we will see...

You see... the problem with DSM owners is they get so upset at us Hondas for doing performance mods to them and not going as fast but they really get pissed off b/c we mod our cars dont go as fast but OUR CARS DONT BLOW UP WHEN WE MODIFY THEM!!!! Our Crankshafts dont just get up and Go for walks along with the rest of the motor!!! And most of all DSM owners get upset because their cars are made by Dodge!!! Sorry... had to vent... Now there is no reason to talk trash about my car or what my car looks like or what my Sig Says... If you want you can go to the SH*T talking forum... just press ALT & the F4 key on your keyboard and it will take you right there...

When I do get the Nos in January I do plan on changing all that out so I can keep my 2.4 TWIN CAM together. The dealer I am getting it from is selling me the 60 Shot NOS kit a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pump for a $1000.00. I just have to pay somebody to intall now. I am also am looking at getting a 60mm throttle body and intake manifold put on also. That will be another $500.00. It just depends on how much the wife gives me to spend. With all of that on I should be in the very 14s and that will make me damn proud. Let me know when you are coming back to town so me and you can hit the track and see what we got. My friend is the one with the Civic SE. You may have seen it before you left. It is 95 with the orange and black wheels and the decals on the side.

If you pull the line off the wastegate in ANY turbo car including a turbo Honda you WILL blow up the motor sooner than later. This does not make the motor weak. It make the owner stupid. I have been running 20psi on my stock turbo for damn near a year on a stock block and have had absoloutley no problem and can STILL hold 20 PSI without a problem. Do not tell me about DSMs. You have only an inkling more knowledge about them that Phatstang1... and that is not a whole hell of a lot.
Sick of people rippin DSM because they are FASTER.

Hey Cavy... $1000 sounds a little high for Uninstalled... you can call Summit Racing get a ZEX kit which comes with jets for 5565 & 75 HP Shots is a wet system no button to push either... just flip the activator switch and put your foot to the floor... it activates the NOS when your foot is on the floor... it also tells the fuel pressure regulator how much pressure extra fuel to deliver giving a constant perfect ratio of NOS / Fuel... there is a little Info on it at ZEX.com... I have been thinking about one for my car... They are like $525. and you can find a fuel pump for like $100-$200 at a performance shop or something like that... and as far as installing it most local shops will do it.. talk to John at Spec-R... he should be able to hook you up....

With all the money that he spent on the car AND modifying it I could take my Si have a turbo w/ a built motor rims a body kit probably stereo and possibly still have a little bit of gas money... it all depends on how you look at it... A. Eclipses look tight and come FACTORY with turbo but cost about $7k more.. B. Civics look tight also dont COME with turbo but can handle one but they cost alot Less... All I have to say is TO EACH THEIR OWN... You like your car I like my car.. you dont rip on my car I wont rip on your car...

The reason I want to go with that NOS kit is because it is built especially for my car and my car only. It is an automatic switch and it comes with all the safety features. I do trust these guys because they all run them on there car. I am very afraid to NOS because I dont want to hurt my engine. They only they work on is cars like mine. So I think I should spend the extra money and get a safer kit. They do have there turbo Sunfire running 23lbs of boost. Damn thats fast. As low as they got it is 10.97 in the 1/4. That is damn fast for a car that weighs 2800lbs.

Thats cool Cavy... I would go the safe way too.. that is Why I would do ZEX if I were to go NOS... its the best for my car... But they know alot more about Cavaliers than I do so I would trust them more...
Just remember... when you put NOS in your car no matter HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO... Dont put the purge valve on a straw inside the car so you can suck in the extra NOS...

Sorry about all of this ScrappinSi. I was just making a simple point that it takes a lot faster times than 16s to beat a V8. I never said anything bad about your car. I know it is stock. I couldnt beat any V8 when my car was stock. Yes I know the more I mod my car the closer it is going to blow it up. That is why I will probably be selling it in a couple of months. I think I just have to much free time at work.

Yes... I know it takes more than 16s... but the funny thing is my car runs faster on the streets... I.E. My friends v8 T-bird was running 16.1s when we went... I was runnin 16.4s... but on the street he cant keep up with me... Ill admit my car is slow... it is just people that think their car is The Sh*t The Best nothing is better than me... There are alot of those people up here... most people up here all have LOTS of Vinyl Chrome Rims and a Straightpipe exhaust with a Brospeed tip and think they are THE SH*T. There is even Some kid saying he SWEARS he runs 12s in his Civic DX with K&N Drop in Filter & a 3a Racing DTM Muffler with only 1 hanger holding it up.. And when I WALKED him he started making excuses... Anyways... I say Mod your car all you want... but if you start to hear some ticking noises pull to an oil change place put some 20w50 oil in it and sell that puppy QUICK.
