alright, It was about 12:30. during the week, i always go home for lunch at noon, and then back to work by 12:30. so i had just plugged my ipod into the headunit, because the damned cd player doesnt work anymore. I'm jammin out to the new atreyu cd, ("lead sails paper anchors" go get it!) and when i start jamming out to a song I gotta drive aggressively. thats just all there is to it. not too aggressively, but i was hittin gears, turbo spoolin, blowin off, straight up SKREET RACIN yo. I'm at the light to turn right onto ulmerton, and I notice my temp gauge going up! So i get around the corner and i start movin! temp gauge goes down a little, then starts goin back up! So I'm weavin around cars to get back to work, since i only work like 2 1/2 miles from my house. the gauge is rising higher and i let off to see if maybe babying the car will cool it down. NOPE it goes higher, and there is a red light and traffic in front of me!!

I slow down and shut the car off. soon the light turns green and people start going, and the car wont start!!!! ohh noez!!! its not surprising because I have a weird ignition problem where SOMETIMES the car will only start after I hit the alarm once or twice, or if i use the remote start. ghetto rigged son! cars are honkin at me, I'm straight up gettin that car started and into gear. I get to where i have to make a left turn, but there is more traffic, so I have to shut the car off again and wait.

As soon as i can I start the car up and it works fine this time, but the gauge is still going up! I cut that left turn and get into the parking lot, and shut that beast off. I jump out of the car and shut the door, and im fly cuz I beat the ultimate over-heat point.

My water pump is going and I have to put some coolant in every week or so, and I hadnt filled it in about 3 weeks so... it was pretty low. anyways it never goes into the red. filled it up with coolant and drove back home, and it was fine. :thumbsup:

 

kinda sounds like my trip home after I blew 3rd gear... I made it into my neighborhood right before the tranny locked up good times.

sounds like what happened to me last night.. car was starting to get hot so i shut it off and it never turned back on ! oddly enough it turned out to be my jet ski battery
