ok, i was gonna keep this quiet, but there havent been many war stories posted up lately, so i'll go ahead and let the cat out of the bag. lol
ok, after lots of work getting the ol integra ready to bring back out, i was all excited about bringing it out sat night, but as we all know, the rain screwed that all up! i was really bummed out cause i didnt get to surprize the heck out of everyone at the usual meeting spot, by pulling up in the ol teg.
i was all bored n stuff about 3 am, and was talking on line to one of my lil freak buds from lakeland, that had moved to O town for school n work.
she reminded me of how i was supposed to take her for a ride in the teg a long time ago, so i asked her, since the kids' mom is down visiting from alabama, and they're spending the night with her, how about i come up there sun night and have some fun with ya? and she said sure, so i went to good ol O town that next night. after picking her up and pulling out of her complex, a bad ass sounding cobra was leaving too. he kept looking at my car and listening to it, and then reved up like he wanted some action, so i reved back a lil, and got a huge grin out of him. lol but anyways, we pull out on the main road (no other cars were around anywhere) and line up, i tell him to honk 3 times since my horn sucks. lol so 3rd honk and i jump him about a car and a half right off the line then in second i hit the spray and i pulled another car and 1/4, and by the top of 4th i had about 3 1/2 cars on him. we stopped at the next light and he was amazed! lol he was like "dammit man, what the hell is under your hood????" lol i told him just a kinda stock 1.6 with a lil spray
he didnt beleive me, but he asked if i would come with him to a spot where some of his buds were hanging out, so we followed him to a spot down on the OB trail, where there were a bunch of really nice cars just waiting for something to do. he told them i was from lakeland and how i had just beat him and they all wanted to see under the hood, so i showed them that it was just what i said it was. lol
we talked for a while and got me a few runs lined up, so we headed out to some industrial area to race.
1st run was a eg civic with a B16 swap. we lined up and launched, and i pulled a couple cars right off the line then continued to pull a couple more cars through every gear. at the end, i was ahead by prob 8-9 cars.
2nd run was a bad ass sounding red supra. i was thinking to myself, "this one's gonna wax my ass" lol we launched and i got about 3 cars off the line, and in second i pulled another car 1/2 but he started pulling super hard on the other end and by the end of the race i only had him by about 1/2 car! he damn near got me!!!!
3rd run was a sick sounding white camaro. i got him about a car 1/2 off of the line but he pulled on me through every gear and by the end he was about a car 1/2 ahead of me. my car was kinda acting a lil funny in that race, but i figured my bottle was about empty, so i didnt think much about it, so after talking to the guys and thanking them for the fun runs, me and my friend went and ate breakfast and then back to her place.
she was really excited about the fun time in the ol teg, and rewarded me for it untill way after the sun came up!!!lol but that's a whole other wild story for pit road though!!!
anyways now here's the bad part of the story. when i went to leave later that day, i heard a knock from hell when i started it up! i was like dammit man! i had to drive super easy and slow all the way back to lakeland, but at least i made it. but yeah, now it's got a bad rod knock again!!!
oh well, it was basically a junk yard motor that i just put my good head and other bolt on's on it. maybe i'll have my other motor together soon though.
it was really fun for that night though!!!!!!

oh yeah, i forgot to mention about last thurs. afternoon, when i was testing out the car at the pipkin rd drag strip. i had just gotten the car running the eve. before, so i was trying to get a lil running time on it and also test it out before bringing it on sat night, and while trying a couple launches, this guy in a blue turbo'd eclipse comes up and asked "you think that ol pos is fast?" and then laughed. lol since he was being a real smart ass, i said "well i doubt it's too fast, but i'm pretty sure it'll kick any mishibeeshi's ass though" lmao
then he was like "well lets do it then man!" so we lined up and i told him he could have the jump (cause neither of us had a horn lol). he jumped and i launched about 3 cars on him and then in every gear i put more and more cars on him. at the end i had to have at least 12 to 14 cars on him!!! lmao
i slowed way down and when he caught up to me, he just gave me the finger and took off!
who is this guy anyway? does anyone around here think they know him? lol
i've never seen him before then.
