first ever street race! 3 cars??? :)
i had a front wheel drive '91 eagle talon TSi. i was about to take it to my friends shop to get a new water pump put on. i had JUST left my neiborhood off 49th st. and 70th ave north and as i was turning to get on 49th st, i see not 1, but 2 1994 honda accords with similar mods...rims, tailights, exhaust, spoiler & suspention. from the loudness i was assuming it might be full exhaust and they probably had other basic bolt ons also. all three of us pull up to the light as it had just turned red and my buddy, the shop owner is behind me in his newer chevy silverado with the 5.3 V8. my talon is completely stock, and the 2 hondas are reving there single cams like there was no tomorrow. i sit quiet and wait for the light to change.
finally it goes green and they take off. my tires give a little "chirp" and i start going. i give it fullthrottle at about 10mph and halfway through 1st gear my tires start screaming for traction. at 5,500rpms i slam 2nd gear so quick i had to look at my tach to make sure i didnt miss the gear. the tires again start roasting. i slam into 3rd at about 6,500rpms and i cant see the hondas next to me, just there distant blue headlights in my sideview mirror. i cant see my friends truck either. i start slowing down after about 100mph and finally they fly past me and cut me off with soar defeat and take the next turn off of the road.
this was my first ever street race and it was a 3-way. ill always remember it and ill miss my TSi. we had fun together.

F/S: 3" S14 Cat back exhuast system, Custom made piping and a magnaflow exhaust, sounds beasty as fuck. No rice. I hate rice. Except for japanese food, there rice is good. Ok mexican food rice is good too...

yes it was fictional. it all played in my head and i wanted to share my fantasy.

So you roasted 2nd gear in a fully stock 1g? Must be different from the 2g. I couldn't smoke 2nd gear until I upgraded. Good kill non-the-less.

anyway, good job. its an interesting feeling picking on kids who think they're fast. sooner or later they will realize that their 9second idols do drive stock single cams....
