Ok so the other day im sitting at a light when I see an srt-4 pulling up next to me. His tint was way to dark and I was thinking I would get killed if I even got close to trying him. So I pretended not to notice to save myself the embarassment. The light turns green and I here his turbo start to spool, I slowly start accelerating ( keep in mind my civic is bone stock except for a greddy evo 2 cat back with no cat and a short ram intake). Anyways back to the story so I here him riding out first gear slowly as I was and then he mashes it. My car was still in first gear so I mash it and jump a half of car length on him. We pull up to the light he gives me a thumbs up and turns right.

How the hell did this happen? I mean a turboed car jesus christ does dodge suck that much ass? I mean my car puts down 134 to the wheels and a 105 pounds of tourqe. How the hell did I win? I mean I doubt vtec in a single cam could be that strong.

Apparently your VTEC kicked in so hard you hit Mach 1 on the SRT-4 and he couldn't keep up. Good thing you had that auto, you probably would have spun all 5 gears up to 200 MPH.

i have never seen an srt-4 have traction in first. new tires or not. my girl has one, and i just put new tires on it for her, and still not that much traction.
