Default Brap Brap vs. EVO 3^2

So i finally work most the kinks out of the car this past week and get it running good enough to roll out lastnight. been having some trouble with rocker arm nuts backing off and the distributor bolt loosening and turning the timing back. There wasn't exactly too much happening at this new spot i was told about so i said i would run whoever, and a guy with an Evo said he would go. we line up and get this japanese fellow to flag us and we're both off. Evo gets a good 3-4 cars out on me from the dig which i was expecting (came out on truck tires ) and it pretty much stayed that way. On the way back we lined up again and went from about a 30 roll. He honked it off and we go. i spun a little bit and stayed bumper to bumper with him, then he slowly pulled away maybe a bumper out, then he shifted and lost whatever he pulled. stayed like that the entire run. i didn't catch the guys name but he was cool. the evo was on 24psi (Stock turbo) and intake/exhaust.

PS. i have since added 15° of timing fucking bolts.
