I was coming home last night around 10:30 when i pulled off of Hwy 50. Was going through the 40mph zone just fine at 45-50mph. Well the last 1/3 of the road i was on turns into a 30mph zone. About 10 seconds into driving through the 30mph zone I crest over a hill still doing 45-50. Lights come on (she had no lights on at all which i thought was not kosher when doing speed traps). I pull over and she comes up and does the usually license and registration. Comes back with a $183 ticket for me. Now i have to take the online course so i don't have 4 points on my license. I asked her before she left if she's supposed to at least have parking lights on. She informed me should could hide in the woods and shoot at me. I was trying not to crack up because she was immitating herself actually shooting me on radar . Oh btw and i knew i was screwed as soon as i heard her voice, got her self a badge & a gun....whooo betty badass. She was acting like i was a criminal lol, when i came to a stop i shut the car off turned the interior lights on (so she could see nothing shady was going on) and rolled the window down before she even came up. She also asked me like 3 times if i was wearing my seatbelt when she turned her lights on because she didn't believe me (anyone who has a newer mustang knows you get that annoying beeping if you don't wear it) BTW if your out there reading this the car is Grabber Orange not Yellow as you marked on the ticket....get it right asshat.

That's what i thought as well. There weren't any light poles on this road. I was looking for some info on it online but came up with nothing.

 

nope. they can sit in the dark with no lights on all they want. they will turn on their lights if they are stopped doing paper work or to make sure they are visible for their own protection, but there are no rules saying that they have to have lights on when parked.
i was told this by both a judge when i was 16 and by my brother-in-law who is a sheriff's deputy.

 

take it to court and say she got the wrong car ur car is orange not yellow lol... Sucks man but what can ya do... There getting sneakier and sneakier each day

 

all bullshit aside contact one of the traffice lawyers....its 100 bucks which is cheaper than the ticket plus no points!

 

hll yea them sneaky ass mofo's. i hate how they are driving civilian type cars now. you can not even tell if it is a cop until they put on the lights. i am still trying to find or see somthing so i can tell from far if it is a cop. a while back they would say unmarked car but you could still tell. i saw a lincoln ls with rims and of course tint pull someone over on i-4 one time, now that is some bullshit. them snaky ass mofo's!

 

idk if its illegal to not have lights, but i know its illegal for them to comepletely hide. i just looked that up yesterday. they can be after bushes and shit like that, but they cant be IN the bushes. they have to be visible, not comepletely hidden.

 

shit man if they have to have there lights on, then u can get out of that shit, look up the law EXACTLY to every letter and if its true and she does have to have them on then ur 99% geting off the ticket
