m3 vs mustang vs spoofrocket
was driving from the beach and I see a awsome looking black m3.
it had staggered 19" black wheels. had a nice sounding exhaust. jut nice.
well he was messing mith a 99-04 GT.
so we catch a light and the mustang was in the other lane. he gave a few revs light turns green and i come out about a car length in first and let out at 80 with around a bus length. The guy in the mustang said that the m3 would beat mine because he had "alot of work done 360rwhp". I was running low boost 8psi I told the guy i made 480rwhp but that was with 10psi. since im only running 8psi im around 430rwhp.
so me and this bad m3 get to the spot we went from a 60roll. i instantly put a car length on him shut down around 100mph about 2-2.5 cars ahaead.
he said "he shut it down early because his radar detector went off" went to the end of the bridge no cops. so we do a u-turn. 40 roll he gets a car length and the hit. well i missed thrid like three times and quit.
good runs seemed like a cool dude.
we should get some runs on video ill put it up to 10psi/100oct next time.

The engine in the E46 M3 is VERY expensive to tune. The only worthy gains come with FI (kits start at 10g+).
The only E46 M3 that is going to put down 360 WHP is going to be supercharged, and I do not know of any FI E46 M3's in the Tampa bay area. If he was in fact supercharged, please send him over to baybimmers.com to introduce himself next time you see him
If he claimed 360whp without FI he was bullshitting you BIGTIME and it was most likely your average E46 M3 with exhaust, intake and a chip -- probably not even headers... a car with these mods would get around 280-290whp.
I'd know a lot better than to run against a boosted mustang myself... waste of time and gas
