gt vs srt neon
had some guy barking at me for a week that his buddies neon runs 10's and hell spank me in my 90 gt, my car runs low 12's on an easy run, finally this guy brings his car out the other night and he pulls up in what appears a stock neon with nitto drag radials on the front and a slightly loud exhaust, i dont really streetrace and im not familiar with these cars but it just didnt seam that fast to me, we lined up on 19, i hit my line lock to stage my car, he laughed at me, as soon as the light changed i had 2 cars of the launch im thinking ok wait for his turbo to kick in, and by my 2-3 shift i had him by 4 cars easy so i let off and he did the usual loser fly by and i wasnt even at 100% wot after 1-2 shift, no money on it who really cared. he follows me into a parking lot and i said to him "wow, when you said 10 second neon i didnt know you ment 0-60!" he started ranting and raving, was either going to race me again or we were going to fight, well im an adult, i dont fight unless someone is going to harm my family, so i decided to run again, we lined up again this time with 50 bux on it, not much, my first time ever doing this for money, i see a spray as he purged his system, i think oh crap, to make a longer story short by 3 gear i still had a car on him as a gsx1300r busa blew past us both!!!! when we pulled in the lot again for him to pay up i told him " alot of people with 13 second neons claiming to run tens!!" after much debate he refused to pay up because he claimed to have let off in fear of hitting the bike!!! i went home laughing.
