With the traps you guys are talking about, sounds like a good race for SLO_Si.
I think C6 vettes are getting more creit than they deserve. I've beaten TWO of them, with me just on the motor, both times the bottle wasn't even in my car...
The Z06.... Well, just like the C5, the C6 Z06 version is a entirely different deal.
I think the C5 Z06 was a bit underrated power wise, and the standard C6 might be a bit OVER rated power wise. No way my 3000LBS. 260hp car should be pulling on a 3250LBS. 400hp car...
Anyway, good kill either way.

c6 vette NOT z06 vette. It was also a drop top. The car had 1 day of slight tuning when I raced the lightning. earlier that day, I had just installed a 3.5bar map sensor. I have now had some more time to tune. I was actually surprised @ the outcome with the vette. He was behind me flying up, I downshifted and I pulled up next to him then let off, to hear if he was on it, he was in it so I got back into it then proceeded to put some cars on him. I still have some issues with the vtec cross and midrange timing it really only pulls hard from 6.5-9k. damn .82a/r turbine housing. It might be going on the dyno on sat. if it does I'll post dyno sheets.
Since I have raced the lightning, I have added 3-4 deg. to the boost section of the map. then found out, when I checked my base timing, that it was set @ around 10-12deg. base is supposed to be 16 deg. It is running much better, but sometimes slips the clutch now. time for my modded tranny to be installed(itr gearset, kaaz, ys1 case, and a new 6 puck act disk)
