so i was hanging out with some friends yesterday, when i decide to take my boy john for a ride in the car. we do a quick circle around usf, letting the car warm up, hit full boost up bruce b, turn right on fletcher. i'm just talking to john, when he says to me "damn, those new eclipses are ugly". i look up, and there's one sitting right next to me at a light. i rev my engine a couple times, no response. so i go ahead and start rolling at a reasonable pace when the light goes green. the eclipse waits for me to get a bit ahead then he floors it. i spool up, zip by, then stop at the next light. We roll a bit, i get in the turn lane to go home, when the eclipse drops a gear and takes off, i look around, noone in the way, so i drop back to second, tires spinning, and catch right up with the eclipse. we run down 56th, and i blow by him. john says to me "stop playing with that poor man's soul!" we had a couple of mini rolls, then i pulled a U and went back home. was glad to get some action in while showing off the ride. the kill list grows

i put the car together, did the engine swap and turbo install myself, tuning by phearable.net, john is an awesome guy. usually in 4th boost starts at 9, then creeps up to about 10.4, there's something wrong with my boost controller, and i'm not sure what yet.
