ok so I go out last night, first weekend in the new car...soon as i get out to the meet spot someone already had me lined up with 3 different cars..but anywho heres how the runs went....

#1 me vs. stg2 SRT-4...we do a 35mph roll...i honk it off and we hit it, i jumped out about a fender maybe a lil more, by the end of 4th gear(120mph) the SRT-4 got out on me like a car, but good run we need to go from a dig next time...

#2 me vs. 4-door Shadow...go from a dig, had a lil confusion with the flagger but anywho the shadow got about a car jump on me out of the hole, wich i take back by the end of first, by the end of 3rd i had about 2- 2 1/2 cars or so.....good guy...

#3 GSR EG Hatch, we go from a dig...flagger drops and were off, well atleast i was...i look up in the mirror as im fixin to hit 2nd, and notice that the hatch is still back at the line...so i stop and back up to the line...we line up again, flagger drops and same thing...i take off hatch sits there...come to find out his tranny kept popping out of first...so we'll prolly get a run in next weekend....

#4 me vs. fox body stang(dunno mods?) go from a dig, flagger drops and were off, he gets me about a 1/2 car-1car on me out of the hole...hit 2nd and i start to pull hard back up to him, i get right on his back bumper and go to hit 3rd. and miss 3rd terribly...get it in to 3rd and hes like 3 cars out so i just shut down right then....get back and park and my valves are going apeshit....so i guess i might have messed sumthing up so imma have to check everything out tomorrow....

oh and by the way, i was on the bottle(50 shot) against the SRT-4 and the mustang...

good runs against everyone i had fun, hopefully next weekend i get better results....but not to bad for it being my first weekend out in the car... thanx to everyone who ran me...

well i dont think it did ive been driving the car all day today and everything seems ok, the valves are just making some racket...so imma go through them tomorrow and readjust them and hope for the best....

oh yes by the way, i figured out what my problem was....one of my rocker arms some how managed to come loose thats why my valves were making a bunch of noise, but i went through and adjusted them all and everything seems to be ok now....

 

umm i dont remember what time it was, but i think it was around midnight or so...when i left the "track" it was like 2 sumthin i believe...
