I LOST!!!

We rode out to Gandy Sunday night, just got some new tires. My friend was riding with his friend who owns the SRT4. He had intake, no exhaust, downpipe, said something about the wastegate, running 20lbs of boost, and last night, he put 6 gallons of 100 octane in the car. So we were leaving Gandy, and just getting on the cross town, to head back to Brandon, we line up for a 2nd gear roll, Im at 5500rpms, he sounds like he is spooled, 3 honks and were off. I immediately inched forward about a fender, bang 3rd gear, he inches back up, by the end of 3rd, we are still neck and neck, hit 4th gear, and he then starts to inch ahead. By the end of 4th, and the speedometer buried, I was at his back bumper. I was upset, but what can you do. I wanted to go from the dig, being that I just got some fresh tires, but his downpipe fell off for some reason while we were racing. At the end of 4th gear, a flame shot out of his downpipe like 2-3 feet long, and that is when his downpipe fell off, and scraped all the way home, sparks coming out and everything. He said he needed to go home to fix, which I understood. Definitely want to line up with him again though. It was definitely a good race, and the 1st SRT4 that I have lost too!!
