Well I was minding my own buisness on my way to a local meet , and low and behold I see a 99 R/T Neon pull out with exhuast , its clean so I say ok ... I see his tag it says TRBO TA and i'm like wtf ...

Soon after I see a C5 come rumbling up on me and trying to race the lonely lil R/T .. AFter many failed attempts at getting him to run . I decide to roll up on him . I give him the obligatory fly-by blow off to let him know whats going down ... I then drop it into 2nd and wait for his reply sitting at 40mph ..

He comes up on me and downshifts , I plow the gas to the floorboard and were off . I jump out a good car or so from the hit and pull it out to 3 or so and he starts slowly creeping back in in 4th and he levels it out to about 2 cars and it holds there till 130ish ..

He pulls up to me at that light and asks "Whats in that thing" I reply with a Downpipe and some more boost ... He says "Damn that thing hauls some serious ass for a Neon , never seen one of em do that" We pull over and bullshit and he tells me he has Kooks Longtubes , ram air , B&B Tri-Flow Catback with testpipes ... We exchange our mutual good race etc. and hes on his way ..

Cool guy and nice car .

DUH its only a neon everybody knows that... thats what i got from the nice trans am owner "i cant believe a neon was keepin up with me!"

 

and it seems as if yesterday neons were the bottom of the food chain.

If it was a stick Im gonna have to throw the on this 1......your car gets down for what little it has done but its not gonna beat a m6 c5.


But if it was auto I could beleve it and I would retract my words.

neither was my car but I know that I would put a good distance on you......I could swear that a m6 c5 would trap around 110 and I know your not that fast nemore.
