Angry Panda v. burnt copper ZX2
Why do people always want to run me when I am in the middle of a phone call? It's rude to interrupt my conversation but funny to the person on the other end of the line.
It all started on my way home from work. I'm tired as hell when a friend calls about a vehicle I was interested in. We were just shooting the proverbial shizit when I roll up to a light next to a late model ZX2 Escort. It has a "ZXtuners.com" liscense plate surround and a nifty carbon fiber hood. I'd seen the car around town before, but never knew if it ran or who it was. He/she had a passenger so I didn't expect anything, especially since I was on the phone. Light is about to change and I see him roll back then forward a few times like he is gonna go. I tell my friend "hey man, this guy is gonna run me or something" and he laughs. The light changes and he jumps off the line. I move out under no boost and just stay beside him. My friend on the other end of the line just says "DO IT!!" So I wick into boost and pull away like he wasn't even there.
God bless automatics. Better luck next time, man. It was a fun end to my day.

That happens to me all the time when im on the phone, thats why i have bluetooth headset now. So i can shift w/out the phone in my head. LOL

It was actually my buddy's KA-t S13 that I was driving. It's only going to be an automatic for a few more days. Dave came up to my shop (s86d, the owner of my borrowed ride) and did the prelim on the 5 speed swap.

Beautiful Disaster is down for now, going to come back with an extreme vengance and a huge chip on her shouder. The head I am building at work is gonna be nasty. It's also going to get some upgraded turbo lovin to sweeten the deal. And if it breaks, I don't care, I do work for a DSM shop.
