No I didnt take past that I was just driving and it happened. I've had problems with the motor since day one. First the tranny then the head and now the block so I'm just trying to find another block or something.

Sux that you might have blown your engine. It shouldnt have blown from the sound of it you dont abuse it like I do mine I race all the time. Tuning and being obsessive about synthetic oil changes has been my salvation I think. Maybe you didnt have the freshhest motor to begin with. I have a Benson sleeved SR22 block waiting to be installed when I do blow. BTW step 1 cams are a waste of money IMO and I have 105+ dynos with 4 different cams and 6 different turbos that will tell you why. I hope you got good titanium springs w/ retainers when you installed the cams because step 2's require them. If you didnt that motor noise you hear is unseated shims or retainers.
