This is my first post here, and even though I've beat many cars, this race was the bestest (lol sp). Here it is:
I was driving down Belcher, in Clearwater, when I see these car behing me getting close to me really fast, I think to myself: "cop, I'm about to be ", light turns red, that car pulls to my left, and I see that it's a fellow 260z owner trying to talk good stuff about my ride. He says: " nice 260z" I replied the same about his car. SO, we agree to race. light turns green, both of us start spinning throught first and second gear. we're dead EVEN 'till 140MPH (on belcher, do try that at home). Best race so far in the Datsun.

 

I meant do NOT try that at home.

 

nice run.......you should come out to the clearwater meet on sunday. burgerking at sunset point and US19.

The 260z never makes it, last sunday the radiator blew up going to that meeting. It has a new radiator, but SBC sure like to get hot

 

Judging by your sig it looks like you painted the car and put some new wheels on it. Also Datsun did not make a 260Z turbo unless it had an 83 Turbo motor in it. There is one like this in tampa that is meth injected that would have made you a spec in his rearview mirror. What color was the car you raced and did you paint the car?

The car in my sig is how I'm trying to get my car to look like, I put it there so it would motivate me to do it.
It was a dark blue 260z turbo that I raced, I'm sure he had the 83 motor that you're talking about.
