run in on track 2-7-5
I was on my way to pick up my ol' lady when I spot a Honda Civic and Mazda MX-6 driving together. They're next to one another and then the Civic gets to the far right lane and the MX-6 goes left to pass traffic in the center. I get behind the MX-6 just trying to pass as well and then go back into the center lane to pass them both. As I cruise by I notice the Mazda is running odp so I'm thinking maybe he'll bite. I really shouldn't because I'm still running shitty but I can't resist. As I pass by I blow off the twin chamber and immediately the civic gives chase. I shift to 4th and hammer it and what do you know, I actually get it to go into "vtec" all the way thru 8500 so I get him by about 3 cars before I let off. Next the Mazda guy rolls up and wants some too. He has his windows rolled up but I can see him counting down, one
two
three
so again I hit it and jump on him about a car and a half and get the infamous sputter at 6000 rpm. Just to stay with it I up shift quick and luckily keep pulling to about 2 and a half cars before shutting down.
three

Thanks guys!
And yes, I'm in serious need of a tune. I mean it runs ok (for now) but I really don't know the prob with the tuning (rich or lean) so I don't know if or what kinda damage it might do over time if i don't get it done. But I'm kinda in a whole as far as money goes
and I'm sure many of you guys know what I'm talking about so I'll have to deal for now.
And Vash, I hope you're still not sore about my 7th gen beating up on your 7th gen
jfwy. But a lot of people say this isn't a good car to mod at all but my car is a great example of doing it right. My car has been boosted for years now and the only probs I've had are probs that anyone gets from turbo charging an n/a car. But as far as the car goes, its a champ. It's never been un-drive-able. How many times do you hear about sentras, rsx's, civics and 240s being down for weeks or months (not picking on anyone impeticular so please no flaming). I might not make as much power but its always backed me up when I needed it and never let me down.
