Default 85 chevy truck vs. 99si

i was sitting in the drive thru at taco bell in my heavy ass chevy truck which is currently running on 7 cylinders until tommorrow when my new plug wires come in but anyways a little silver riced out si kept reving his shit up and holding it at the rev limiter and we got our food and we pull out onto the main road and he got up next to me and reved it up again at first i wsant going to race him being i dont have insurance or registration at the time but i finally gave it to him with my truck just in drive and running on 7 cylinders and i put about 3 cars on him and then let off and he flew bye like most ricers do but i caught him at the next light and i asked if there was anything done to the motor and he answered back saying a greddy turbo and skunk 2 intake and a zex kit but he wasnt sprayin at the time and i thought he was full of shit being i didnt pay attention to the car before as far as having a front mount so i said how come i didnt here a bov and he said i dont have one i dont want everyone to know so i listened to the car a little better and i heard it whine and when we took off again i shifted the ol truck and he sprayed the f*** out of his car and i still put a good 2 cars on him and i also noticed the front mount that time so i think si's are just too heavy of a car and too slow no matter what you do to them

+1 no such thing as a silver si, so i was probably a single cam with about 100whp + greddy turbo kit which probably added about 30-40 whp.

I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.

Whats the point of a turbo kit that only adds 30-40 hp?

John

i agree, the greddy kit sucks balls. but also, remember a 30-40 gain on a civic is going to give you more time than it will on a mustang. i've seen a 130whp crx run 13.9 consistant. a mustang with that much power is going to run a 30 second time.
