You guys probably know I am severely against street racing, but I was tempted to toy with a guy and his friend in a Lancer OZ edition who thought they were cool since they had a fart can on their ride. I thought it'd be funny to give him a taste of old school natural Toyota aspiration and see if I could be faster than him without spooling my turbo. So, he ended up going first, downshifting and gunning it, whereas I stayed in 5th gear at around 2k RPMs, revving very slowly with the highway gear. Friend of mine and me couldnt stop laughing as we were neck and neck, me pulling on him even with 20 mm Hg of vacuum or so...only to add to the laughter was his shift! Its not that he missed the shift; he shifted quite well. Its just that he had to shift to change his powerband to try and beat me, yet I was in the worst possible powerband I could have. To top it off, the car is 17 years old, meaning it probably didnt have the full 200HP rating it wouldve come with from the factory without a turbo (better yet in vacuum with lower compression)...then finally my turbo made positive pressure and showed him that my Probe really wasnt that slow and I really was messing with him.

Note that we did not exceed 65mph
