So last night I hung out with the Lakeland cars, and we headed to Tampa to see what was going on, apparently not much, after hanging out and getting rained on, we arrived at an infamous old school sliding spot, where we got to see some cars sliding around and glenn's insanely quick car was shooting napalm and killing tires.

A white SR'ed s13 240 looking for a run so in my everlong quest to finally kill off my stock clutch, i decided a dig run should help it. The road turned was really shitty, and in my nervous attempt to line up and stuff, i forgot to hit my boost controller to high, because my low boost is only good for killing the local kias, hyundais, and occasional SOHC civic. buttttt 'you run whatcha brung', and as i tried to launch a dying stock clutch with 205mm wide tires, and the open diff of death, i got holeshotted, spun through 2nd gear, and by the time i entered 3rd gear i just shut it down, as the white car was a good 1-1.5 cars out on me by then. when i asked him what type of mods he had, i got 'bolt ons' and t25 still. so not bad.

i recognized the guy whom i think ive met, but i forget his name. i'll have to get a rematch sometime soon when i learn to drive :wall: and get a clutch. sounds like alot of excuses, but it was in good fun. i lost, and so i must regroup to reclaim victory another day.

i know you're on here mang, good run. i wanted to chat but i think you all didnt like us "invading" your spot and everyone left.

Good death and the car was still hauling ass for 6psi and a burnt up clutch......Oh well shit happens

 

yeah, i'd like to line up against you, maybe jason (pending what car he has that week ), and some of the ls1's or mustangs in the area once i get my clutch, we gotta figure out where we all stand so if we all go out we'll know how we fare if someone runs a car from this area.

good death, after you grt the clutch you need to get it tuned ASAP, so you can get some real power out of it, oh, and tires withought a doubt.

 

Damn I cant wait until I am boosted just a couple more parts.... Good death.
