ITR vs GTO
Battle of the letters. 
Well this is my first post of a kill. I recently went to bradenton to run the ole ITR. I get to the track and let the car cool down and notice alot of other ITR's and a couple of the new GTO's. I finally decide to stage and end up next to the new GTO. I think to myself crap I am going to get eatin alive since i didnt really know how fast these things are. I stage at the lights and we are off. I didnt see him in front of me at all through out the race then before the end i look thru my rear view and see him a couple cars behind. Come to find out he ran a 13.6 and i ran my best to date of 13.1. I didnt realize that a couple tenths meant car lengths. Ended up racing him again with the same results.

sounds like we need to run...what was your trap and what have you done by way of mods

oh i also raced one of the ITR's that were there. It was turbo and i put a worse beating on him than i did the GTO.

my trap was 107. should be a little faster now. at that time i had intake, jdm 4-1 header, e-cutout, skunk2 cams and valvetrain, msd digital six, fuel upgrades and obd1 with a 65 shot. now i am up to a 75 shot and a new throttle body. So hopefully 12's. Wish we could run but I am no longer in Tampa. Maybe if the next trackday is a Sunday we can run then.
