Looks like the concensus is to greatly reduce the Call Outs in here. If a lot of the guilty parties can take note of this we will not have to go Nazi on this forum. So with that said if it goes further in the crapper or we have to start mass deleting stuff we wil know who is to blame.
Does that about sum it up ?
As far as additional mods in here, we are always looking for good ones so PM me with your reason why you could make a good one and I will go to bat for you in the admin forum. If you have been on TR less than a year please do not apply.

I see where the mods are coming from but not all of the call outs end in fighting and arguing. Just lock those that end up that way immediately.

you need to start making age requirement for this forum. my guess is the ones ruining it with that stupid ass stories are also the ones that fucked up all of the race spots in tampa after f&F came out.

This forum was always about the telling of what happend when the race took place, not setting them up. We would allow the occasional call out because it wasn't the norm and when it did happen the threads stayed on track and the races happened.
We recently made the change to allow call outs and it blew up in our faces. The forum ended up being filled with pointless callouts that never ended up turning into a race. So, now we are forced to crack down hard to try to get things back under control.
This used to be one of my favorite forums on the site and I always looked forward to reading it, especially after the weekends. Why? Because we had alot of people posting good stories about some good races. Hell, even the bad races at least got a good write up that was enjoyable to read. Alot of those people don't post or read much in here anymore because of how shitty it has gotten in here and how immature some of the users are acting. I know there are alot of big cars that have either just come out or are about to come out and I'd love to have this forum cleaned up and back to normal so we can hear about them like times past.
Like it or not, this is what I am going to work towards getting this forum back to. If you don't agree and can't control yourself in here, don't read/post in this forum. If you can't control yourself enough to do this, I'll help you out with a temporary ban from War Stories. If that doesn't work or you start spreading the bad behavior to other areas of the board, I'll remove you from the rest of the site.

If I just PM someone, it removes the TR experience. Mine as well just call him on the phone as TR would be that far removed from the whole thing. But if I made a thread, theres no question about it- people will enjoy reading about it, talking about who they think will win, etc.. then the results are posted. I think the problem is when the callout thread turns into a flamefest and no one ends up running. Or calling out someone you know you can beat just to be a dick.
I really think theres a few spoiling it for the bunch, is all. I Believe some of these people I'm referring to are crunchy, and good with catsup.
