lol, people are just jealous that dodge has put more boost than any other manufacturer under the foot of the common person, though your right, dont think a stock or near stock SRT4 has any chance against a cobra....a stage 3 on the other hand....or my car when it finally gets finished...thats another story, assuming it can get some traction anyway

neons fuckin suck the end i just bought it because i enjoy orange cars GAWWWWD

 

neon no matter how modded will hardly keep up with a cobra cause remember traction is a major issue, mod for mod the neon will get destroyed.

same with my car, I would get beat down by RWD cars with much less power cause I am FWD

 

I dont know man, a 300hp neon will outrun a 300hp cobra, a 300HP neon will clock mid-low 12 second 1/4 mile times(maybe high 11s), almost full second faster than a stock cobra with the right driver/suspension setup, the fact is with solid motor mounts and a LSD traction may still be a problem, but the neon is still 1000lbs lighter(1st gen here, dont know about 2nd gen) this has been proven quite a few times...even saw a video somewhere of a 1st gen eating a cobra for lunch somewhere, though your right, mod for mod the cobra would rule

but FWD cars actually putting the power to the ground they make is few and far between

 

Yeh but take my car I have alittle less than 300 ( I think I dynoed 297hp and 282 tq)with drag radials and I dont have IRS like the newer cobras.......So launching my car isnt very hard......From a roll I will probably get ruled by skittle and Bryan H but from a dead stop to 100-103 We would probably be even...Because traction is a bitch as I saw at track day for most the skittles Bryan deff had traction issues and I can get my car outta the hole pretty quick......
