Corolla XRS vs RSX-S
Its a corolla xrs, which is a 4 door celica GTS, so it is possible, a bolt on GTS and a bolt on rsx (sans hondata) is a pretty even race.

Unless the RSX driver just plain sucked...I know an RSX-S owner who pulled 14.5s with just a CAI at Moroso. Repeated, too.

Well theres a few GTS celicas here in florida that i know personally that are going mid 14's with just a cai, some have exhaust, doesnt really do much for the car though, cai is like 15 to 20whp on the car, its ridiculous. So i can see it your way, an intake header exhaust rsx-s would prolly win, but i dont think it would be an absolute beating.

yeah I agree, and it definitely depends on the driver.
hell I watched an SAFC get tuned on a celica GTS, sucker gained 12whp. twas freaking nuts.

Sadly the ecu in the 7th gen celicas is too smart for the safc and it eventually overrides the settings, so everytime you wanna take advantage of it you have to reset your ecu. I saw online, a guy attempted to tune his turbo GT with an s-afc and after like 3 pulls the corrections would vanish, the ecu would learn and say no no. If you want to tune a 7th gen right you have to at least step up to an e-manage, but the best is a Apexi PFC.
