mr2 vs gti 20ae
i was on my way home last night and called my friend with the 20th anniversary gti running 22psi to see what he was up to, and he was happen to be at the mall, which was on the way. since i just installed a new t3/t4 on my mr2, i figure i would give him a run or two
we went at a roll around 30mph and i thought i was in 3rd gear, when i was actually in 5th, and he pulled on me, HARD
so we went again, and this time we were going about 35-45mph and went up to 70mph and he was about 1/2 a car away from me
so we finally hit a light, i launched at 3000 rpm, and pulled about 2 cars on him. but he later explained that was because he can't launch the car since the car burns out needlessly with 19inch wheels, which is true because i have seen his car sat there and burn rubber and not move an inch
over all, it was exciting and it was fun, got my adrenaline pumping pretty hardcore
i am running 10psi on the new turbo and it kicks! although it's still slower than most of the cars on the road
