Got a few decent kills in sat. night
So i got the hatch running decent, it still needs a throttle cable, real shift linkage (my cut and weld is horrible), and a clutch cause it slips when its not 50 degrees or colder lol, but other than that, the little bastard is quicker than hell, i guess its one of those good swaps
Last night was hella cold and it was running awesome for some reason, the chipped ECU is working out great for me.
So i line up with what i thought was a somewhat stock-ish 90-93 LS integra, little did i know he was b18c1 swapped, with i/h/e aftermarket clutch, and falken azenis (not the best, but way better than mine).. Well the ONLY reason i even wanted to race anyone is b/c i was freezing my ass off and wanted a reason to get in the car and crank up the heat
we line up, i forgot to drop tire pressure, so im on like 40psi and i hold my rev to around 2500 and ease off (bread factory rd. SUCKS for launching) i spin all of first, all of 2nd, half of 3rd, and finally catch traction when i am still next to him (he was having minor traction issues too), well i catch traction and i was gone, probably 3-4 cars..
Next i line up with a 91 hatch with a stock b16 but one of those freak swaps that turns out faster than most, his only mods are full 2.5" header back exhaust, i finally let air outta my tires, to 12psi and launch at about 3500, feathering the clutch at launch, he gets me outta the hole while i spin through 1st, spin half of 2nd and get up to his door, 3rd gear his bumper was at my door, and 4th gear, i was gone b a good 2-3 cars..
Now, the fun shit was on the way home, i love roll racing with b-series vtec motors cause they rev ungodly high, and the old LS stops at around 7500 or so... there was an extremely clean and very loud blue EK hatch on sawblades with some kinda b-series vtec swap i believe, i was just cruisin at around 85mph or so, he comes next to me and just creeps into vtec and lets it just kick in very slowly, i hear it, jump once, he jumps so i know he wants to run, well i signal him 3 honks, on his 3rd honk, i dropped it into 3rd and he did too i think, we stayed side by side until he hit 4th, ive got longer gears than him, so i hit 4th and started to inch by him, and by about 125-130 i was a car and a half ahead of him.. that was probably my best run of the night, cause that fucking car was so clean and sounded like a damn monster, this is comming from someone who is running open header too
well, im sure some of the ppl that were out there will chime in to leave out anything i forgot, but all in all, it was a good night, i had a few more runs too, but those were the runs where u just put ur flashers on before u run, yea, it was just that bad.. and ceejay (DONT SLEEP) if u read this post, pm me, i am VERY impressed with ur crx, that little bitch launches SOOOO hard man..

I think I'll stay away from titanium retainers, I don't want to have to be adjusting every few thousand miles.
