So I am on the way to get some work done on my car.....(boost controller, new bellmouth downpipe...and some others. ) and I run up on a red srt4....at first he didnt want to race , then I passed him and I could only assume that he saw I was not an sti..... All of a sudden he pulls up fast and wants to run. Well we went from a 60 roll and traffic wouldnt permit us to go passed 80 before shutdown.....he pulled his rear door to my passenger front door and we shutdown. So, we slow down and cruise to catch the next light. He grabs the far right lane, I grab the far left....someone in the middle. Now I am thinking......this is gonna be a great run if I get a good jump off the line ,so. he stages at 2500rpm or so.....I stage at `4300 rpm ......Light turns green and I jump 2 car lengths on him right off the dig.....I 'm like hell yeah!....I'm gonna whore him.......all of a sudden I hit third.....He hits third (and traction ) and just decimates my ass......he pulled about 2 cars on me and I couldnt catch up anymore ground on him! we shutdown at 110 or so.....but I dont think I would have caught back up from 105-140mph.....althogh after the run he said he thinks I would have narrowed the gap to about 1 car length on the top end Who knows...........we did another roll run at about 50 or 60mph.......and he pulled even harder.......about 2 1/2 lengths up to 100 or so... WRX mods- catback exhaust,ssqv,uppipe. SRT4 - factory ecu upgrade (i think satge 1 or 2) cat back , drop in filter..................Damn neon put a hurting on me! I cant wait to run him now that I have downpipe,upipe,mid pipe,boost controller and soon to be installed utec stage 2..

 

good runs maybe you and i can run when you get the uppipe and stuff just for fun...always good to see nice wrx's and sti's!!!

Way to let us down I pity you j/k. Those Srt-4's are pretty damn quick. With all the stuff you have now you should be able to take em out and have your revenge....Go get him.....

by the way-- about the race, I'm assuming you raced the skittle w/ out those mods? w/ the boost controller and downpipe, i think the outcome would b a lil different, I've seen wrx's run mid 13's on those mods..

 

Yep ....the race was with no mods....just axleback and bov and .....weren't we going to run just for fun?? I hope you got a turbo or some serious engine mods before you race the srt 4 or me!

Yea dude, i'm always up for a friendly lil run (wrx,srt4,etc), was just waitin for u, let me know when you want to run so we could set this up... Make it quick, coz my clutch is slowly dyin on me, lets race before i actually put a new one in... (break in period sucks.. lol)
