So last night out at Gandy, I get to play with a nice looking 98ish Cobra who was purging at a light. We start from a low roll, about 40 or so. On the third honk, I put about a half car on him, and he sprays sliding the car sideways and nearly out of control he went into the far left lane, then back into my lane, and I quickly turned into the right turn lane to avoid death. He slid once more into the far left lane and finally got full control back from the power. Crazy shit.... :o
I talked to the guy later, and he was cool. Needs drag radials for whatever shot he was running though. Cobra sounded mean.

Had 2 or 3 runs with InsaneCivicSedan, One run he just didnt go, the other run he spun wildly. Caught traction at the top of third, and began to inch on my door, once he shifted fourth he fell back about a half car, somewhere near my bumper, once I shifted fourth I started to pull and he shut down.

So two wins for me last night.

 

Get tires, we'll run again. I'll raise the boost.

 

My girl said you weren't even close to hitting us, and from my view, you weren't going out of control in third. I did not have a great perspective though, you were behind me.

Watch out for office Tweedle dum next weekend. He said he'd be lookin for you.

 

That sucks. Time for a better boost controller? Smaller turbo maybe?
If he's blowing the tires off at under 15psi, there's something wrong. Chris, you need to stop spending money on whatever else you are, and buy some decent tires. We can always run again. I don't anticipate my car dying anytime soon.
