You talk like as if your word somehow carries anymore weight than the next guy. Please, how do you know I would lose considering that it has not happened? Ive had my car turboed since April 2004, I have raced the 04 version of the Spec V and Have not lost. Im not trying to bash you or your car, I know neither but your ridiculous claim that because you beat 4 RSXs , the Spec V is now "faster" in general is ludicrous and I could claim the same about the Spec V just cause I have raced 3 people? Come on be serious. Whats done to the C5 that makes you say that you have it for "cars like mine"

Talking? I posted this thread to race- not talk! Im tired of talking, lets settle this! if its a drivers race find a RSX owner that can drive and line that mother#ucker up. Im asking for a run. Why isn't anyone stepping up? Its easy for you to say youd win a race you can't make happen in one breathe its a drivers race, in the next you guarantee you'd win, which is it?!?!?!

as far as the vette go's I didn't know you smoke C5's, and yes its factory stock. kudo's on your RSX.

 

C5s are nice looking, but not all that impressive. They usually run around the same times as LS1 F-Bodies considering its practically the same thing. Hopefully you'd have something done to it before calling out Alberto. By the way Alberto, my buddy just bought a turbo kit for his type S and is installing it this week, got any tips for me to relay to him?

BTW- I think F-Bodies handling is this shit...try one out sometime, most people would be suprised

 

no, you have 10 posts = I don't know you = you have no rep on here yet. you have an heavy ass camaro, and no Im not ignorant by any means. most of you guys tune to go fast in a straight line but go flacid in the turns.

 

oh man lets keep this civil but let me make more clear my whole point. You said you beat 4 RSXs, I have beaten 3 Spec Vs, so in reality this really means that its pretty much a wash. Besides me and you many other have done this race and it has been back and forth just like you and me, which usually means the cars are pretty much even and it turns into a drivers race.

I never said I smoke C5s, but I can surely hang with or possibly beat one and I would be more than willing to try yours. Based on specs and real life experience from not only you and me , but many many many others, The RSX-s and Spec V show that no car is that much faster than the other which is my whole point, you own a Spec V if you think that its faster than RSX s than good for you. Your opinion and thought that make you happy should be fine. I on the other hand disagree with such a comment simply because there is so much evidence against it.

Bring out your C5, then you wont have a problem beating any RSX right?

 

which kind of kit did he get ? greddy? if he did i recomend getting Kpro from Hondata to tune, hell get low numbers and crappy driveability otherwise with Emanage.

 

do you have a stock RSX typeS? no? then dude please start another thread if you feel that strongly about it. I'd love to explain why a C5 is better then a slomaro. But this thread is so I can try to get some runs going. thanks.
