was out in an 04 Eblue tonight...had plenty of good runs/wins but lost to the almghty "stock" orange blast 05'. Good run and fast car....end of story...


i failed to mention the 05's bottle feeding and all cause the owner did too

 

i definitely agree that he is spraying...hiding solenoids and lines arent hard at all....which we all know

 

i beleive the one of the only cars that beat him was the wingless 04'. Its mods are:

hood mod ( cutting an opening on the hood and airbox to draw air from the scoop), Mopar Stage 1 computer, Stant 180 degree t-stat, Agp wga (17psi initial spike dropping to 15psi), K&N drop in, Mopar Short Throw shifter w/ booger bushings, Prothane race inserts, Deyeme Racing heavy duty mount bolts, Deyeme Racing tranny mount, Mopar springs, 26mm PT Turbo front sway bar, 19mm RT/ACR rear sway bar, Energy Suspension endlinks and nothing else

everything else is 100% oem i.e stock, no BOV no exhaust no nothin

 

Grants car is definitely respectable and quick..when me and the orange 05' raced he had a 1/2 head start,i pulled hard,made ground got even then he STAYED there while i barely was able to put a bumper on him...He also beat a S2 srt-4 with other mods tonight and THEN he lost to a pretty much stock Srt-4....this kid has something up his sleeve(or threw his firewall in that case)

 

the S2 car was rolling away strong too...then all of the sudden the "stock" car rolls 1 car past it and lets off. I would know cause i was driving it

 

I wanna run this orange skittle to see how "stock" it is... Jamie told me about this fella... I am "stock" too so it should be lots 'o fun....

 

he may not race you cause he might beat you and we all know a stock skittle cant beat a stock civic....atleast your INSANE civic sedan

If theres no parts available you use what you have laying around. I'm pretty sure the owner will get more mods when he gets to it.

 

Was a very fun night. He has only had the 05 for 11 days now. It will only get faster and faster. Weird thing is the bottle car seems to pull better than all the boost only cars in 4th gear.
