Another one gets to see the ballz!
Cruising down the road tonight I take off a lil at a light and realize this guy next to me in his almighty Hemi wanted to show me how fast his truck is. The Hemi Ram superiority is total hype. Back to the story. I'm sitting at like 40-45 mph and I hear him gun it. So I lay the pedal down to the floor and easily I am a lil more than a truck length ahead of him. He catches up a lil and I keep on it and stay about the same distance ahead of him. Much impressed with my lil 5.4 litre with only a Gibson cat back exhaust. If we'd gone over 99 mph he'd taken me. Once my chip comes in the real fun will begin.
Good kill

humm interesting, but I can take a 04/05 Supercew 5 foot bed 2wd without a problem in my 03 5.4L Supercab Fx4 ( 3.55gears and 32" tires), also my truck weights about the same as the 04 supercrew. So does this mean I can take a hemi? I'd tend to think so since, the 300 hp 3valves are only makeing about 10 to 20 more RWHP then the 5.4 2V motors. So what does all this mean???? Hemi owners are cheap and run only 87 in them instead of the 89 which is required to make the 345 hp? Just wondering about all this hype of motor claims, to be honist, I am kinda disappointed making only 210 rwhp and the 300 hp 5.4 is only making 230 rwhp. Graves have you dynoed your truck yet? I'm about to add a Edge programmer, MAC intake (cool air) and MAC exhuast. I'm guessing it will put me about 230 to 245 hp without programming and maybe 260 rwhp with 91 gas and tuning.
Haven't yet, but I have seen one with the same setup I am goign for put down 268 to the wheels with just the Gibson exhaust, Air Raind intake, and a Superchips Micro Tuner. And this was on 87 octane. I figure if I go with that and run the high octane settings and a lil 100 shot I should be at least 350 to the wheels.
